Home Inspection is not currently regulated by the state and there is no licensing, certification or registration process. In order to start your own business as a home inspector you will need a business license in the county/city in which you will be establishing your business. Each municipality has different regulations so you should check with your local county office. For more information on starting your own business please see our Home Inspection links page.
Because Home Inspection is not currently regulated there is currently no examination for this course.
